Acacia
The acacia stands like stratus clouds held in the sky by many arms. These trees grow in subtropical regions globally. The acacia is in the pea family, so their long fruit are legumes can be winding, brown when they dry. Flowers grow as puffs of yellow or white or pink. They can survive droughts and dry conditions because their roots grow deep into the soil. But they have a short life span, living only 20-30 years.
These trees are used for inks and adhesives, as anti-inflammatory, and food.
The acacia live in myths of boats and crowns. At the base of these trees stood the balance of life and death.
